#42 Dreamy in Dotty

Our Brides – Steph

London based Steph fell in love with Jesus Peiro at her first appointment, and it wasn’t long before the dotty 110 won hands down. The photos say it all; they’re truly vogue worthy!

Everything about this coastal and rustic wedding is stunning. We can safely say it was challenging to narrow down the images to those that feature here!

It’s such a pleasure when brides visit us from all over the country. Many combine their appointment with visiting family who are more local to our Derbyshire location.

Steph, you look sensational in 110 and everything you styled works perfectly. We’re so glad you made that trip up north and came to see us!

THE LOW-DOWN

How would you sum up the style of your wedding?

Relaxed, coastal and rustic!

Where and when did you tie the knot?

21st June 2021 – Norfolk.

And what was your wedding dress?

Jesus Piero 110.

Steph stands in the middle of her 4 bridesmaids. The bridesmaids wear blue, floor length, sleeveless dresses in a softly pleated fabric. They all hold their bouquets which contain bright, bold florals such as peonies, dahlias and roses.

THE DRESS

Did you have an idea of what you wanted when you first started looking for your wedding dress? And did you stick to it?

I originally had the ideal of going with something really simple but when I tried the Jesus Piero dresses on, there was no going back!

How did you find the whole experience of searching for the right dress?

I absolutely loved it! Alexandra Anne is so relaxed yet still feels like a really special experience. Jess was fantastic at getting me to try different styles on and also letting me blab on about what I liked and what I didn’t like whilst swanning around the shop.

It felt quite surreal actually, like a Pretty Woman moment when Vivian goes into the designer shop. Except the staff were super friendly here and made me and my mum both feel really at ease. I never wanted to leave!

What was it about your dress that made it ‘the one’?

I didn’t want to take it off! I loved how the skirt had volume and a swing. It was contemporary whilst also made me feel a bit like a princess. Not too twee, slightly modern and most importantly fun to wear! I just felt like it was my dress.

How did you feel once you’d made the big decision?

Super excited!

Do you have any top tips for other brides out there shopping for their bridal gown?

Go in with a really open mind, spend your time and bring people with you who you love and trust.

THE BIG DAY

Tell us more about your outfit on the day. How did you complete your look?

I had earnings from Victoria Fergusson which I loved and I felt really completed the look.

My makeup was done by my best friend and made of honour Rachel Freeman makeup, her style is natural but also gave me the definition and slight glam I wanted.

Shoes I found hard because I hate my feet but they were block heeled sandals with a bit of glitz from Dune.

And your bridesmaids?

They all wore a sky blue dress from chi chi clothing as well as Victoria Fergusson drop earrings which I got as a present.

What do you remember about the morning?

It was so chilled and one of my favourite parts of the day! I was just so relived the day was finally here (planning in covid) and excited to get my dress on and marry Tom.

Who did your hair and makeup?

Rachel Freeman makeup

Hair by Lisa

Who took your wedding photos?

Aurora Grey Photo – Alicia was absolutely amazing, so chilled and captured the day beautifully.

How did your dress feel when you were walking down the aisle?

I felt like a Queen!

ADVICE FOR BRIDES-TO-BE

If there was one piece of advice you could give to a new bride-to-be, what would it be?

Enjoy the day! You have spent so much time planning it and now it’s time to relax and enjoy. Don’t worry about how you look, the smile on your face is enough and most importantly remind yourself while you are there and savour the moments with your partner.

And last but not least, where is your wedding dress now?

At my parents after being cleaned!!
