Welcome to the Alexandra Anne Bridal Outlet, where you'll find a carefully curated selection of designer sample wedding dresses, bridal separates and modern wedding outfits at reduced prices.

Based in Hathersage, in the heart of the Peak District, our boutique offers something a little different. Think beautiful dresses, experienced bridal stylists, exclusive use of our studio and a genuinely relaxed experience, without any pressure to buy.

We hold dedicated outlet events throughout the year and can also arrange private outlet appointments outside these dates.

Our outlet appointments offer the same warm welcome, personal attention and styling expertise we're known for, just with the opportunity to purchase one of our beautiful designer samples at an outlet price.

You'll have exclusive use of our studio throughout your appointment, with an experienced bridal stylist to help you explore different shapes, fabrics and styling options.

There's no busy shop floor, no fighting over dresses and definitely no pressure to make a decision.

Our outlet is an extension of the Alexandra Anne aesthetic: modern, considered bridal wear with beautiful fabrics, strong silhouettes and a particular love of clean lines.

You'll find sample wedding dresses and bridal outfits from across our designer collections, with a changing selection of styles, sizes and price points.

Some pieces are wonderfully understated, while others can be transformed with sleeves, capes, veils or accessories to create something completely individual.

Our outlet collection changes regularly, and most pieces are one-offs. If you're interested in a particular size, designer or silhouette, you're welcome to contact us before arranging a visit.

Rest assured that we curate a large selection from across our designers to give you access to a breadth of brands and styles. The majority of our samples come in sizes 10-14 UK. Our sample stock regularly changes, so please do get in touch with us if you have a query about a specific dress or style.

What should I know before booking an outlet appointment?

Outlet prices from £500 - £1600

The majority of our outlet dresses and outfits are priced between £500 and £1600. There are a few premium dresses, usually from Jenny Yoo Collection, that are up to £2,500. We offer accessories within the outlet, including some veils, capes, scarves and toppers.

Sample sizes vary

Our outlet consists of individual sample dresses, generally available in just one size per style. The majority of our samples are between a 10 and 14, with some exceptions either way. Sizes vary across designers and the collection changes as dresses are sold. Please contact us before booking if you'd like advice about the current options in your size.

Alterations

Alterations aren’t included in the outlet prices; we recommend fitters local to you and suggest allowing £200 - £600 for bridal alterations. Sample dresses are usually made to standard sizes, and will always require hemming and alterations - even if the fit is near perfect. Experienced fitters can adapt the samples to personalise the look. Your stylist will guide and advise you with options when you’re trying a dress you love.

Take your dress (or jumpsuit!) home

Outlet pieces are already made and hanging on our rails as samples, so purchased samples are paid for 100% upfront and then taken away on the day. Should any samples require cleaning, we will advise on recommended services to get this done. This makes our outlet a particularly good option if you're working to a shorter wedding timeline.

Tell us a little about what you're looking for.

We’ll ask you to share with us your budget, style ideas / preferences and any particular designers or dresses you've got your eye on. We love to hear about the plans for the wedding too.

Enjoy the studio to yourselves.

No busy rails full of other shoppers, just you, your guests and an experienced bridal stylist. Before trying anything we ask you to pick out 4 -5 samples that catch your attention, and we use these as the starting point.

Try, explore and have fun with styling.

We'll help you understand the fit and possibilities of each piece, including accessories and alterations. Once we’ve seen you in the first samples, we’ll begin to pull additional samples that will build upon what’s feeling right for you. Yes, sometimes this may involve a wildcard!

Find something you love, without feeling pressured.

If a dress feels right, brilliant. If not, you'll leave with honest advice and a better understanding of what you're after.

Why do designer wedding dresses end up in our outlet?

Our outlet dresses may be previous collection pieces, discontinued styles or samples that have been tried on in the studio. They're offered at reduced prices because we're making room for new collections, not because we've changed our standards. We carefully look after our samples and will always be open about the condition of an individual dress, including any signs of previous try-ons.

For lots of brides, an outlet dress is a brilliant way to find exceptional designer quality, beautiful fabrics and a look they love at a more accessible price. And just because the dress is a sample doesn't mean the finished look can't be completely your own. We love helping brides explore styling options that make a dress feel personal.

The made to order price may not be there, but you'll still be getting a stunning wedding dress from one of our favourite bridal designers.
