Congratulations!

HUGE congratulations on your recent wedding, we bet you’re still on Cloud 9? Take it all in, savour the day and await your professional photos to relive it all over again.

Selfishly, we’re sad that you no longer need to pop in and see us (though of course you are more than welcome to). To keep the wedding chat going, here’s some top tips from us for after the event.

Outfit showing signs of a party?

We have seen it all; mud, rain, red wine, paw prints… you name it! No need to panic though, your outfit can be restored to a former level of beauty. There’s never a guarantee it will come up like new but if you want to have it cleaned, don’t hang around.

The sooner you get your outfit cleaned, the better. This prevents the stain setting into the fabric and gives the cleaners the best chance at getting them out. As expected, these are specialist fabrics and your choice of dry cleaner should reflect that. We recommend Terrington Burchett who are bridal experts, and will courier the item to and from your address to make things even easier. You can take it to a local dry cleaner but make sure they understand the cleaning instructions in the label. If they’re unsure, try elsewhere.

Re-wear, re-style.

With most outfits there is a way to re-style them to make them re-wearable. Shorten a bias cut slip dress into the most sensational evening gown or honeymoon wear. Use a jacket or top to wear for your anniversary each year, or even split a dress into bodice and skirt for multiple looks.

Alexey, our in-house fitter, is a technical wizard and will work with you to craft a new outfit that can be re-worn over and over. Get in touch with him directly to discuss your ideas and set your dress’s second life into motion!

Your Photos

PLEASE (not to sound desperate), send us your photos when you have them! Not seeing the whole look come together is like watching an amazing film where we don’t get to see the ending. Seeing you in your element, happy as can be, with hair, make up and your loved ones around you is next level compared to what we see at the end of fittings. We become genuinely invested in our brides and every photo we receive absolutely makes our day.

Feel free to ask your photographer to tag us on social too, that way we are sure to see the images they share.

Bring back your besties

So many brides step through our doors from recommendation, which we LOVE. We get to meet new brides and catch up with those already on the journey with us, or past brides.
