Join us as our Sales Associate

At Alexandra Anne, we’re on a mission to bring ultra-modern bridal fashion to this historic and beautiful part of the Peak District. With that in mind, we’re looking for the right person to help us along the way.

We’re a small business (two mother-of-two 30-somethings) with plenty of experience in bridal retail: before setting up the shop, Jess was Head of Sales at London designer Charlie Brear and was with the company for over 10 years.

As the business grows, we’re on the lookout for a new team member. Ultimately, we need someone who will be happy and comfortable running their own bridal appointments, advising brides on styling, and managing the sales process from start to finish. As well as offering wedding dresses from each of our four designers, we also like to help our brides-to-be mix and match separates to create their own individual style, so there’s plenty of opportunity to get creative.

Finding the right fit for our business is important to us. We’re a dedicated team of two and looking for a third person to slot into our dynamic for the long-term. Ideally you’ll be either in the world of bridal and set to stay, or looking for a career change into a new role that offers a great opportunity for work-life balance and job satisfaction.

We pride ourselves on our exceptional level of service, so you’ll be trained up to run a friendly, relaxed bridal appointment that’s tailored to each new bride who comes through our door.

Alongside the appointments and styling, we want someone happy to get involved in the day-to-day: from unpacking and steaming dresses and basic administration, to getting creative with social media and website updates.

Sewing and alterations experience would be a major bonus, too, but not essential.

Sales Associate – Application Process

Click the button below to start your application. We’ve asked you to answer a few questions about your suitability for the role and to upload your CV.

If you’re shortlisted, we’ll invite you to the shop for an interview. After that, there’ll also be a trial day where we’ll ask you to shadow a day of bridal appointments. That way, we can get a sense of your customer service style, and you can get a sense of whether we’re the kind of place you’d love to work.

Diversity + Inclusion at Alexandra Anne

As with our brides, we want everyone under our roof to feel included. That said, due to the nature of the role, we’re unable to take applications for this role from (a) those who identify as men or (b) wheelchair users or those with a disability that affects motor function in the hands.

We especially welcome applications from women of colour, given the lack of representation in the wider bridal industry. We’re a small family business, so we’re also very open to mums looking for something else to be amazing at.
