Plan Your Visit to Our Bridal Boutique
Alexandra Anne is a very special bridal boutique, situated in a charming Grade II listed building (and ex-laundry) in the delightful Derbyshire village of Hathersage near Sheffield.
Let us know if you're a bride visiting from Sheffield, Manchester or Leeds – or making a day of it from Nottingham or Derby – and we can offer lots of local recommendations!
We have the stunning Hope Valley right on our doorstep, plus a world of tasty temptations on offer at the many local cafes and delis only a few strides away. Amazing views from Millstone Edge, Mother Cap and Owler Tor are just a short drive up the hill, too.
We have dedicated parking spaces for our guests, so you don’t have to worry about fighting the crowds who come to see this beautiful part of the Peak District.

Directions for Sheffield brides (ey up!)
We're only 11 miles from central Sheffield, so you can be with us in under 30 minutes by car (or you can take a direct train from Sheffield).
Start by heading out of Sheffield on the Ecclesall Road (A625), which takes you all the way into the Peak District. Continue along the A625 onto the A6187 (simply keep following the road, you’ll pass the Fox House Pub on your right). Keep going until you enter Hathersage, as you come around a left corner into the high street you’ll see ‘Hathersage Business Hall Centre’ on your right – drive on in and park up!
Similarly, we’re only 15 miles and 30 minutes from Chesterfield and you’ll reach us via a scenic drive through the Peaks.
Directions for mad-for-it Manchester brides
Hathersage is a 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Manchester city centre through the otherworldly beauty of the Snake Pass (A57). Better still, you can reach Hathersage on the picturesque Hope Valley railway line (very handy if you get the prosecco popping). The train runs every hour from Manchester Piccadilly and only takes 1 hour. The boutique is just a 10-minute walk from the Hathersage train station.
We’re even closer if you're coming from Stockport or Macclesfield. So start planning your day of bridal luxe and local sightseeing, and book your appointment to come play dress up.
Directions for reight proper Leeds brides
(Jess went to uni in Leeds, so she has a special affinity for the city – and the corner shops of Headingley!).
You can reach Hathersage in 1 hour and 15 minutes from Leeds by car. Take the M1 south, then take exit 36 and cut across to Stocksbridge on the A616. You’ll then need to head south cross-country until you hit the A57, then follow the signs for Bamford to reach the Hope Valley. Turn left onto the A6187 and Hathersage is the next village you’ll come to. We’re on your left as you head out of the village on the main road.
