Shoot #2 – Taking Chatsworth by Storm

Here’s a story about how a quick cup of tea with a new pal turned into a full-on bridal photo-shoot in the Peak District! Chatsworth House has never looked so good…

Last summer, an ex work colleague of my other half James called in to say hi and have a look around the bridal boutique we’d decided to leave London for. Ruth is originally from this neck of the woods, and it’s safe to say she fell in love with the shop – and the dresses – at first sight!

We hit it off right away, too, and it wasn’t long before we’d hatched a plan to get Ruth back and into some of her favourite wedding dresses for a cheeky photo-shoot right here on the Chatsworth Estate. Ruth hooked us up with her brilliant photographer buddy Alex Toft, and I’m so happy with the results!

As well as a part-time model and all-round superstar, Ruth Cooper-Dickson is a specialist in Mental Health First Aid training and runs her own workplace wellbeing consultancy, Champs Consulting. You can follow her adventures here on Instagram.

Hope you enjoy the photos,

Jess x
